Philip Tuxbury-Gleissner joins the Department as Associate ProfessorProfessor Tuxbury-Gleissner joins the department from Ohio State University, where he was an Associate Professor in the Department of Slavic and East European Languages and Cultures, where his teaching focused on Soviet and Central European culture, film, and literature, specialising in migration and transnational culture, queer studies, Digital Humanities.

Lecture series now online: Understanding Europe’s East – an introduction to the History and Culture of EuropeThe series was organised by the Department of Russian and Slavonic Studies, Trinity College, Dublin in partnership with the DU Eastern European Society and the DU History Society. It was part-funded by the TCD Faculty Events Fund (FAHSS).
