LinkedIn can be used for more than just posting your latest career successes. Many companies use LinkedIn as a way to advertise vacancies within their organisation. Additionally, many recruiters will use LinkedIn to identify suitable candidates for a role and reach out to you directly.

Public jobs is the Public Appointments Service website where roles are advertised throughout the following areas: Local authorities, An Garda Síochána trainees, various civil and public service positions, HSE roles etc.

Solas have a wide range of programmes available for those looking to upskill and gain competencies in a new industry. This can be done by taking part in their traineeships or apprenticeships.

College Careers Websites

Your college will have a careers team who often have their own internal jobs board which you can access both as a student and alumni. This is a great opportunity to view roles which are suited to college graduates with little industry experience. Additionally, colleges often hold an annual career fair and host various networking events with some of the bigger graduate recruiters throughout the year.

Company Websites

If you know what company it is you want to work for then make sure to turn on notifications so you know when they are recruiting. Also, why not connect with current employees in that role or department which will allow you to get a better idea of what is they do beyond the job title.
